This relaxed local writing meetup at POUR 818 is all about carving out intentional time to write without pressure, expectations, or distractions.

Whether you are working on stories, poetry, journaling, creative ideas, school projects, emails, or simply trying to build a better writing habit, this meetup offers a welcoming space to sit down and get words on the page.

The session is designed to keep things simple and low stress. Participants will spend most of the time quietly working on their own projects while sharing the atmosphere and motivation that comes from creating alongside others.

There will also be time afterward for optional conversation, networking, or connecting with fellow writers and creatives in the community.

This event is open to both introverts and extroverts alike, and all experience levels are welcome. Just bring whatever you like to write with, grab a drink or snack from the hosting business, and enjoy a creative afternoon in Cottage Grove.
